This joy-sparking stapler was originally designed in 1985 by Oscar Lepre, the owner of Ellepi, who modeled it off of a beloved sea mammal: the whale. Today, each stapler is still produced in Parma, Italy by a small family-owned factory. Its powder-coated and nickle-plated design is incredibly durable for many years of use in the tidy home office.
