Streamlined and discreet, this magnolia wood container is a countertop cache for banana peels, coffee grounds, eggshells and other compostable materials bound for the garden or beyond. The mitered box is made in Alabama from urban timber – fallen trees that have been diverted from landfills. Oiled but not stained, it holds a lidded stainless steel pan that is easily removable for emptying and washing by hand or in the dishwasher.
