Arita Porcelain was established under the purpose of connecting ancient Japanese tradition – namely, the 400-year old tradition of Arita-yaki porcelain making – to contemporary lifestyle. Inspired by the profound experience and skills of local Arita craftsmen, Arita’s ceramics are developed using clay made from crushed stone, resulting in strong, heat-resistant porcelain pottery made to last.
