Handcrafted by skilled Japanese artisans, this seemingly simple wooden bowl takes months to create. The fastidious process begins with the selection of the wood – versatile and hardworking Japanese chestnut – which is naturally dried and then formed on a potter’s wheel (translation: extreme skill required). Each bowl is one-of-a-kind and intended for use from morning to night – for cereal, yogurt, soup, crunchy snacks and other tasty delights.
Do not use in microwave or dishwasher. After use, avoid soaking in hot or cold water for a long time. Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with gentle detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Do not use coarse brushes or abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly after use.
