Hanabunko Porcelain Bud Vase or Bookend
$44.00
Designed by Fumiaki Goto and handmade by artisans in Japan’s Saga Prefecture, this book-shaped porcelain bud vase is an example of Hizen Yoshida-yaki pottery – a ceramics tradition established more than four centuries ago. Its name combines hana, meaning flower, with bunko, a small-format paperback book. Whether placed among volumes or used as a bookend, the vase adds an elegant, playful touch to any shelf. The central aperture helps to stabilize stems and serves as a non-slip grip.
