Hanabunko Flower Vase
Regular price $44.00
Designed by Fumiaki Goto and handmade by artisans in Japan’s Saga Prefecture, this book-shaped porcelain bud vase is an example of Hizen-Yoshida pottery: a ceramics tradition established more than four centuries ago. Its name combines hana, meaning flower, with bunko, which is a small-format paperback book. Whether placed among volumes or used as a bookend, the vase adds an elegant, playful touch. The central aperture helps to stabilize stems and also serves as a grip.
