Large Japanese Ikebana Kenzan (Flower Frog)
Ikebana is the centuries-old Japanese art of arranging flowers to make them come alive. A kenzan – or flower frog – is the foundation of any arrangement; its pins pierce through the base of the stems to hold them in place. Place it in a shallow bowl full of water – seeing the architecture behind the arrangement is part of the practice. Made in Japan, this brass kenzan can support woody material as well as softer greens and stems.
Sparks Joy Kenzan are a sustainable alternative to floral foam, a toxic material often used to create an arrangement's foundation. A kenzan will keep your greens green.
