Why should planters be predictable when nature is anything but? Made from Japanese Yoshino cedar, this beautifully curvy planter was carved to feel like an extension of the greenery it houses. Made by guitarist-slash-woodworker Daiki Sakae in his remote workshop on Kyushu Island in Japan, it highlights cedar’s soft grains and groovy lines. Diminutive enough to grace a surface without overpowering it, the planter would make a lovely deskmate.
