Cast Iron Trivet
Led by third-generation master craftsman Nobohu Miya, Kamasada Studio has been making Nambu ironware for more than a century. The traditional Japanese handicraft – a specialty of Iwate Prefecture, on the northeastern coast – combines simplicity, artistry and practicality. This cast iron trivet adds modern design to the mix. Finished with a coat of urushi lacquer, its rich black surface is resistant to rust and ready to protect surfaces from hot pots, pans and serving dishes.
