Give your salt, spices, dips and garnishes a joy-sparking home in this miniature donabe pot – modeled after a traditional kamado-san, or donabe rice cooker. Use one (or several!) to dress up your dining room table when guests arrive. Comes with a wooden spoon to make sprinkling easy, and the lid keeps things fresh. 

Sparks Joy Made in the Iga region of Japan, whose unique clay – which was on the bottom of Lake Biwa a cool four million years ago – creates celebrated pottery that's ideal for making and serving food.

Hand wash only. Make sure to dry completely. This product is not dishwasher safe.
Food should not be stored in the product, as the porous clay could absorb the moisture and smell of the contents over time.
Avoid sharp temperature changes and do not freeze this bowl – both could cause it to crack.
Do not set on direct heat.
Please Note
Authentic Iga-yaki tableware or pottery develops its character with use over time. The color and texture can change slightly or tiny crackles ("kannyu") can develop inside. These are all the welcome characteristics of Iga-yaki's historic wabi-sabi beauty. All Iga-yaki products made by Nagatani-en are hand-crafted with care – every piece is unique and no two pieces are identical. There are slight variations within the color, shape and pattern among pieces, which is what makes each piece so special!
