An essential element in Japanese bathing rituals, salt is considered a powerful purifier in Japan. After cleansing the skin with Amayori’s Hinoki Onsen Body Wash, sink into a salt soak – the second step of a traditional Japanese bath.

This set is made up of four distinct salt blends. Each one is dedicated to a specific mineral found in hot springs – magnesium chloride, sulfur, magnesium sulfate and sodium bicarbonate. Each blend also contains essential oils – hinoki, geranium, vetiver, jasmine sambac and red mandarin; plant extracts; and a trio of wildcrafted Japanese seaweeds with a high mineral content traditionally believed to cleanse impurities from the body – all chosen to aid in relaxation while easing tension in the body and mind.
